1. Jan 7, 2014. #1. Hi! I have a 2008 500 with dualogic transmission, which has sadly failed. First the transmission fuse and relay burnt out, and the pump motor windings were damaged. The motor has been repaired, but the transmission fuse is still blowing and the transmission fluid is leaking. Hi Emmerson, the dualogic is just a robot that shift gears for you The lever is quite different than a manual (non-dualogic) one, so it's pretty easy to identify. The gearbox itself is exactly the same, so has the same recommendations regarding maintenance. The dualogic system DOES need its own maintenance I have a automatic transmission and occassionally (although more frequently) it seems to get "stuck" in gear. The display will show either 1 or 2 and then rev and keep revving, so I push the gear stick up to manual override up a gear and I get "Gear not Available" It wont go up down or neutral.
